Different Shades of Dayara Bugyal Trek(Best time to Visit)

Dayara Bugyal, quite possibly the most stunning meadows in the Himalayas! This beautiful scene changes its tones and energy with each season, offering something exceptional regardless of when you visit. Here is a breakdown of the different types of landscapes the Dayara Bugyal Trek offers during different-different seasons.

Summer Season (March to June)

From March to June, Dayara Bugyal wakes up from its winter sleep. The temperatures range from 5°C to 20°C, making it an ideal time for trekkers looking for a lovely climate. As spring unfurls, you’ll observe lively wildflowers spread across the rich green meadows, while in late-spring, the whole scene feels lively under radiant blue skies.

Monsoon Season (July to September)

From July to September, the Monsoon season can be precarious here. With tricky paths and heavy rainfall, it’s not the most ideal time for doing this trek. While the meadows change into a lavish green heaven, we don’t recommend visiting during this period because the trails are slippery and unsafe.

Winter Season (October to February)

As we enter October and November, pre-winter weather carries a brilliant touch to Dayara Bugyal. The temperatures range from 8°C to 15°C during the day and drop to around 0°C around evening time. The rich green grass changes to warm shades of gold and brown. This season offers perfectly clear perspectives on the encompassing snow-covered tops and the meadows shining in the Soft Autumn Light. At last, from December to February, Dayara Bugyal transforms into a winter wonderland. The scene is totally covered in a blanket of snow, and temperatures decrease to – 5°C to 5°C during the day, with evenings plunging to -10°C or lower. This is the ideal time for snow lovers and travellers hoping to encounter the pristine white magnificence of this Himalayan pearl.
